Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has touched almost every zone. Personal protective equipment is the last line of preservation healthcare providers. Due to prolonged use PPE, many adverse skin reactions may happen. aim study to: Explore difficulties and Skin Damages Caused by Protective Equipment among Nurses Caring for COVID-19 Patients. Design: This was Descriptive research design applied in this study. Setting: performed heart chest diseases hospital at Zagazig University Hospital. Subjects: implemented on (30) nurses, majority nurses were females, their ages are ranged from (20-50) years old participate study. Tools: In study, questionnaire combine difficulties self-reported damages with questions demographics a concerning personal protective and mainly focused Results: common clinical symptoms skin Scar large part nose, Pain back ears, Excessive sweating, 58.1% had difficulty related time using equipment. Conclusion: PPE HCWs imperative avert widespread diffusion but could be detrimental due utilization for long period.
